OBJECTIVES
Angelink fundraising journey starts with clicking on a "Start a Campaign" button on the website and users need to complete the journey to launch their fundraiser campaigns.
Paid ad campaigns are the main channel driving fundraisers to the platform. However, the cost per fundraiser acquisition wasn't reasonable for Angelink.
At the same time, the majority of fundraisers started a campaign but didn't complete the journey to launch the campaign (low quality of users).
SOLUTION
North Road Digital (NRD) team worked with Angelink to better define high value users and metrics that can be tracked on the site/platform and better define the quality of traffic. NRD team also analyzed historical data both on Google Ads and Google Analytics. The goal was to find the best performing tactics have been applied and new opportunities that the team was missing.
RESULT
1. Improvement in cost per acquisition
After 2 weeks of running the new campaigns, NRD team was able to bring the cost per acquisition down by 250%.
2. Improvement in the quality of users
NRD team was able to identify channels and campaigns that were driving low quality traffic by analyzing the historical data. Also, NRD team introduced and tested new channels that no only the cost per acquisition dropped but also the quality of traffic was doubled.
